The Jewel in the Heart of the Lotus
The Medicine Buddha brings healing not only to physical illness but dissolves the deeper sicknesses of the mind — attachment, aversion, and ignorance — that are the root of all suffering.

Traditional Tibetan protection prayers for warding off harm, obstacles, and negative influences — for yourself, your family, and all those you love.
Prayers for the flourishing of all good conditions in your life — health, prosperity, harmonious relationships, and the ultimate happiness of liberation.
These prayers can be used by anyone who approaches them with sincerity, regardless of whether they identify as Buddhist. The power of prayer lies not in the perfection of pronunciation, but in the genuine intention of the heart.
To begin, find a quiet place where you will not be disturbed. If possible, light a candle or a stick of incense as an offering. Sit comfortably with your back straight — this helps keep the mind alert and clear.
Read the introductory section of each prayer to understand its purpose and the qualities it invokes. Then recite the prayer text slowly and mindfully, feeling the meaning of each word. Finally, recite the mantra — traditionally 7, 21, or 108 times — while holding a clear visualization.
Close each session with a dedication of merit: mentally offer any goodness generated by your practice to the benefit of all beings. This is the heart of Mahayana Buddhist practice.
