Authentic Practice.
Real Nuns. Real Prayers.

TibetanPrayers.com was founded to create a direct, transparent bridge between people seeking blessings and the dedicated Tibetan Buddhist nuns who offer them.

Why This Service Exists

Tibetan Buddhism has one of the world's most profound and detailed prayer traditions. For centuries, monks and nuns in the Himalayas have offered prayers — pujas — on behalf of individuals, families, and communities facing illness, hardship, grief, or transitions in life.

Yet for most people outside of India and Tibet, accessing this tradition meant either travelling to Dharamshala or relying on informal connections. TibetanPrayers.com was created to change that — to make authentic Tibetan prayer accessible to anyone, anywhere, with full transparency about what happens and who performs the practice.

Our Partner Nunnery in Dharamshala

We work directly with a dedicated nunnery located in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh — the heart of the Tibetan Buddhist community in exile, home to His Holiness the Dalai Lama and one of the most vibrant centres of living Tibetan practice outside Tibet.

The nuns here are trained in classical Tibetan Buddhist texts and perform traditional practices — including Medicine Buddha puja, Green Tara prayers, and Chenrezig practices — on a daily basis. Ani La, the senior nun who coordinates requests, has practiced for over two decades.

Your prayer request is personally received by Ani La, who ensures your name and intention are held with care throughout the practice.

What We Believe

We believe that prayer — sincere, focused, and offered by those who have cultivated compassion over a lifetime — has real value. Whether you approach this through a spiritual lens or simply as an act of intention and connection, we hold your request with the same reverence.

We are not a commercial prayer factory. Every request is handled individually. Every practice is real. And the nuns who perform them do so as part of their genuine daily spiritual life — not as a service, but as an expression of bodhicitta: the wish for all beings to be free from suffering.

Transparency

The cost of the Sangha Blessings package ($11) covers a contribution to the nunnery — supporting the nuns' daily needs, their practice materials, and the upkeep of their community. A portion covers the coordination work required to receive, process, and confirm each request.

We never inflate prices, never promise miraculous outcomes, and never pressure anyone into a larger package. The free Monthly Blessing exists because we believe access to prayer should not depend on what you can afford.

Your Intention Is Welcome Here

Whether for healing, peace, a loved one's passing, or simply a wish for the wellbeing of all — submit your prayer today.
