A complete guide to requesting authentic Tibetan Buddhist prayers from anywhere in the world.
Tibetan Buddhist prayer has been practiced for over a thousand years. Today, through the power of sincere intention and dedicated practitioners, it is possible to have authentic Tibetan prayers performed on your behalf — no matter where in the world you are.
At TibetanPrayers.com, we connect people worldwide with Tibetan Buddhist nuns at our partnered nunnery in Dharamshala, India. This guide explains exactly how to submit a Tibetan prayer request online and what to expect.
In Tibetan Buddhism, prayer is not simply a personal act — it is an offering made on behalf of all sentient beings. When you dedicate a prayer for healing, protection, or peace, the merit generated extends beyond the individual and ripples outward in ways that transcend our ordinary understanding.
People request Tibetan prayers for many reasons:
Tibetan Buddhist prayers are not simply words recited aloud. They are backed by centuries of lineage, meditation practice, and the focused intention of trained practitioners. The nuns at our partnered nunnery in Dharamshala have dedicated their lives to this practice — every prayer they offer comes from a place of deep training and genuine compassion.
Unlike generic online prayer services, our prayers are performed within a living tradition, in a real nunnery, by practitioners who have taken vows of dedication to the liberation of all beings.
Submitting a prayer request is simple and takes less than five minutes.
We offer three options at TibetanPrayers.com:
On our prayer request form, you will provide your name, email, who the prayer is for, and the nature of your intention. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with — everything is held in complete confidence.
After submitting, you will receive a confirmation email. For Sangha Blessings, you will also receive the details to complete your offering payment (via Wise or PayPal). Prayers begin within 1 day of confirmation.
When your prayers are complete, you will receive a final confirmation from us. You will know your intention was held in prayer.
Our nuns in Dharamshala are ready to receive your intention.
Submit Your Prayer RequestNo. People of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome. Tibetan Buddhist prayers are offered with universal compassion — for the benefit of all beings, regardless of religion or belief.
We partner with an authentic Tibetan Buddhist nunnery in Dharamshala. You will receive confirmation emails when your prayers begin and when they are complete. We do not work with performers or actors — these are real practitioners with genuine training.
You may submit your intention in any language. Tibetan prayers are performed in Tibetan and Sanskrit — the language of your intention does not affect the prayer.
If for any reason we cannot fulfill your prayer request, we will refund you in full. We take this commitment seriously.
